Job summary

National Capital Toyota in Queanbeyan is seeking a full-time yard person for the new and used car department to commence immediately. You will help maintain the vehicle display yard, assist with vehicle delivery and collection, and prepare cars for delivery with attention to detail.

Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. A current manual driver licence is required, and a positive, proactive attitude will help you thrive in our supportive team and

Qualifications

• Experience in car washing/detailing in a dealership environment preferred.
• Yard maintenance experience desirable.
• Must hold a current and valid manual Driver Licence.
• Positive can-do attitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work unsupervised and take ownership.
• Willingness to learn and adapt with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the vehicle display yard.

About you

We are looking for a full-time yard person for our new and used car department to commence immediately. This is a hands-on role assisting in maintaining the professional appearance and cleanliness of the vehicle display yard, the delivery and pick up of vehicles as well as general duties in regard to preparing vehicles for delivery. Experience is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.

Skills and Experience

Car washing / detailing experience in a dealership environment preferred

Yard maintenance

Must have a current and valid manual Driver Licence

Genuine positive 'can do' attitude

Keen eye for detail, able to detail cars to a consistent level

Ability to take ownership

Ability to work unsupervised

Demonstrate initiative and flexibility in your approach to work
