Job summary

Gridsight is building a dedicated Flex product team to orchestration utilities and energy resources. We seek a software engineer to cover the full stack, building backend services, shaping data models, and delivering a web-facing surface for utilities to operate flexible resources.

You'll work across backend, data, and frontend, shipping features in production, and contributing to engineering culture with strong testing, observability, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping production user-facing features.
• Strong fundamentals: clean architecture, testing, code review, CI/CD.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools.
• Ownership and bias to action.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across the Flex stack: backend, data models, and web UI.
• Own features end-to-end from problem to production.
• Build the product surface for self-serve: configuration, visibility, reporting.
• Collaborate with grid modelling to integrate outputs into workflows.
• Develop monitoring tooling to keep deployments healthy.
