Job summary

Computit Technology Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Developer/Programmer to design, develop and deliver software solutions for client projects. Location: Brisbane CBD, Queensland (On-site). Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Base salary: A$80,000–A$100,000 per annum, plus superannuation. The role covers full-stack development, software architecture, technical leadership and client engagement across the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of professional software development experience including full-stack delivery.
• Proficiency in front-end and back-end development frameworks and languages.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Experience with server-side languages: Node.js, Python, PHP, C#/.NET, or Java.
• Understanding of databases and REST API design and integrations.
• Ability to design software architectures and deploy to production environments.
• Strong communication and client engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead client discussions to clarify requirements and define project scope.
• Explain technical options and manage expectations on timelines and changes.
• Design software and system architecture including components and data flows.
• Evaluate technologies and prepare implementation plans with effort estimates.
• Develop and maintain front-end interfaces, back-end services, APIs and databases.
• Configure production environments and manage deployments and releases.
• Ensure code quality, testing and secure development practices.
