At least two years of commercial software development experience.
Proficiency in Java and experience with React.
Strong software engineering fundamentals: OOP, data structures, design patterns and version control.

Be a hands-on contributor within a capability team; designing, implementing, and testing new features across the full stack while ensuring product cohesion, stability, and scalability.
Contribute to feature-level technical design, making sound choices and keeping complexity under control.
Participate in code reviews, learning best practices and helping maintain code quality, standards, and maintainability.
Support the development of cloud-native solutions with an awareness of scalability, resilience, and reliability (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving software defects and performance bottlenecks through optimisation techniques.
Utilise containerisation, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous feedback processes.
Apply best practices in quality engineering to ensure assigned code components are backed by appropriate test coverage.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools and workflows to support your day-to-day coding, learning, and delivery speed.
