Job summary

Kraken and Energetiq in Melbourne seek an experienced software engineer with a passion for full-stack development. The role focuses on delivering features across the stack, from React frontend to Java backend and cloud infrastructure on AWS.

You will work in a collaborative, agile environment and contribute to customer value with high-quality software. The ideal candidate will have strong Java/Spring experience, AWS serverless familiarity, and a drive to learn and grow within a fast-paced energy

Qualifications

Proven software development experience in Java and Spring.
Experience with AWS cloud and serverless architectures.
Strong frontend skills with React and API integration.
Strong problem-solving and collaborative, agile mindset.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable code.
Ensure the Energetiq platform performance, reliability and quality.
Contribute across the stack: frontend (React), backend (Java) and infrastructure (AWS).
Mentor junior engineers through pairing and code reviews.
Participate in agile ceremonies and team retrospectives.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver customer value.
