Job summary

Star Phones Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Fullstack Developer to design, build, and maintain an e-commerce platform supporting online sales of mobile phones, accessories and repair services. You will work on MedusaJS-based systems, frontend React UIs, and backend APIs to ensure fast, reliable shopping experiences.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience, strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, and a track record in e-commerce integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field; 3+ years of experience.
• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, React and Node.js.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and database management.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance the MedusaJS-based e-commerce platform for online sales of phones, accessories and repair services.
• Build and maintain dynamic product pages and CMS-driven storefronts using Strapi; ensure responsive UI and improved conversions.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to automate inventory, product management, payments and notifications.
• Design and maintain event-driven backend workflows and databases to support real-time inventory and retail operations.
• Develop and support online booking solutions for repair services with system integrations and customer communications.
• Deploy, monitor and maintain cloud-hosted apps using AWS and CI/CD pipelines for secure, reliable delivery.
• Troubleshoot, test and optimise applications; document technical processes and collaborate with internal teams.
• Integrate Google Maps and other services to support store locations, inquiries and bookings.
• Monitor performance and implement enhancements to speed, reliability, security and UX.
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance the e-commerce platform and support growth.
