Job summary

Talent Forge Group is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to build production-grade AI health tech in Sydney. You will ship features end-to-end, integrate with practice management systems, and work with real-time audio and LLM-powered workflows alongside clinicians and data scientists.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with production-grade web apps, and can own problems from idea to shipped product in a fast-paced startup/scale-up environment.

Qualifications

Full-Stack Software Engineer — AI Health Tech | Sydney | $150k + super

About the Company

Doctors spend more time typing than treating. Our clietn is fixing that. They've built an AI co-pilot that sits in the room during specialist consultations — listening, transcribing, filtering the noise, and turning it into a clinical-grade report before the patient's even out the door. It's already clawing back 8+ hours a week for the doctors using it, and it's wired straight into the EMR systems they run their practices on. We're backed, growing hard, and about to go a lot further.

About the Role

Now they need a full-stack engineer who wants to build real, production-grade AI — not tinker with a demo — and see it used by clinicians the same day it ships.

Responsibilities

• Ship features end to end — no waiting around for a perfect spec
• Build and maintain integrations with practice management systems
• Get hands‑on with real‑time audio and voice systems
• Build with LLMs in production and hold the bar on output quality
• Work shoulder-to-shoulder with product, clinical, and data science people to turn real problems into shipped software

Their stack: TypeScript end to end — React, Node (NestJS), PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• You'll need a CS degree (or related) and full working rights in Australia.

Required Skills

• Startup or scale-up scars — you're comfortable with ambiguity, own problems outright, and would rather ship and iterate than wait for permission
• Real, hands‑on experience building products on top of LLMs
• A track record of shipping production-grade web apps across the whole stack
• The ability to sit with clinicians and product people and turn what they need into what you build
• You already use AI tools daily in your own engineering work, and know exactly where they help — and where they don't

Preferred Skills

• Nice to have: cloud platform experience; healthcare or other regulated-industry background.
