I’m currently working with a well-established technology-driven organisation that’s looking to bring on an experienced Full Stack Developer to join their growing engineering team.

Full Stack Developer - Melbourne Based

We are searching for a senior Full Stack Developer who excels at building robust, user‑centric web applications. You will collaborate with a dynamic team, deliver high‑quality code, and influence architectural decisions in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure web applications and services
• Develop and optimise APIs and microservices using Java and Node.js
• Build intuitive, responsive UIs with React, TypeScript, and HTML5/CSS3
• Manage and integrate relational and non‑relational databases (Postgres, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis)
• Contribute to architectural design discussions and technical decision‑making
• Work with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and containerised environments
• Use version control tools (Git, SVN) to manage and maintain clean, reliable codebases

Skills Needed

• Strong experience in Java backend development (3+ years)
• Extensive experience with Python and be able to demonstrate it
• Proficiency with SQL and database technologies (Postgres, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis)
• Familiarity with Node.js and Python
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture
• Experience deploying solutions on cloud environments (Azure preferred)

Location

Melbourne - Hybrid working (3 days in the office)

$115K-$130K + Super
