Job summary

Whizdom is seeking experienced Full Stack Developers for a 12-month contract in Brisbane to deliver secure, scalable applications and drive digital transformation. You will work across front-end and back-end development to build and enhance business-critical systems that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience developing full-stack web applications.
• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Angular and/or React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Proven RESTful API and web app development experience.
• Experience with SQL Server, Git, CI/CD and secure coding practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain front-end and back-end application components
• Build responsive web applications, RESTful APIs and scalable technical solutions
• Develop secure, high-quality code aligned with engineering standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues and production support requests
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Product Owners and DevOps teams
• Contribute to Agile delivery, application modernisation and continuous improvement initiatives

Key Skills

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with Angular and/or React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3
• Proven experience developing RESTful APIs, web services and modern web applications
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, database design concepts and Git
• Understanding of secure coding, CI/CD, testing and software development lifecycle practices
• Azure, Docker, microservices or automated testing experience will be highly regarded
