Job summary

Hertz in Melbourne is seeking a Full Stack Developer Level 2 to design, develop and maintain modern web applications and cloud-based solutions. You will work with stakeholders across the business to design, develop, deploy and support software while upholding high standards of quality, security and scalability.

The role requires strong ReactJS, NodeJS, Express and GraphQL skills, experience with AWS and Docker, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver reliable digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ReactJS, NodeJS, Express and GraphQL.
• Experience with MySQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and Serverless frameworks.
• AWS experience including EC2, S3, Lambda, SNS, SES and SQS.
• Knowledge of Ubuntu Linux and web server administration (Apache/Nginx).
• Experience with Git version control.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with software architecture and solution design activities.
• Ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, secure and maintainable.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders and external vendors.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and code repositories.
• Support and optimise CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
