Job summary

UnitingCare is seeking a Full Stack Developer to build and maintain mobile and web apps across front-end and back-end environments. You will design scalable solutions with React Native and ExpressJS, collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into practical digital outcomes.

The role covers API integrations, databases and cloud-hosted apps, plus supporting DevOps pipelines and modern software practices. Hybrid work in Brisbane is available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer within a modern software development environment.
• Strong experience developing applications using React Native.
• Experience across both front-end and back-end development.
• Experience developing applications for web, Android and iOS platforms.
• Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js and ExpressJS.
• Experience working with APIs, databases and cloud-based technologies.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance mobile and web applications across front-end and back-end environments.
• Design and build scalable solutions using React Native and ExpressJS.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into practical digital solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, bugs and production incidents to ensure system stability and performance.
• Support API integrations, database management and cloud-hosted applications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, system enhancements and platform upgrades.
• Participate in testing, deployment and release activities across multiple digital platforms.
• Support Azure DevOps pipelines and modern software development practices.
• Ensure solutions meet security, quality and performance standards while adhering to development best practices.
