Job summary

Connect Sydney is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Developer to join our GBIS team in Melbourne. The role blends software development with application support, delivering secure, scalable solutions and modernisation across national operations.

You will work across the stack with C#, .NET Core, SQL Server and modern front-end frameworks, while contributing to CI/CD practices and cloud-based deployments in Azure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Full Stack Development, Software Engineering or Application Support
• Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, ASP.NET and Web APIs
• Advanced SQL Server and T-SQL skills
• Front-end development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with React, Angular, Vue or similar frameworks
• Experience with REST APIs, Git and CI/CD practices
• Azure and Azure DevOps experience
• Power Platform experience is advantageous
• ERP, workforce management or asset management systems familiarity
• Agile, DevOps and ITIL environments

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1, 2 and 3 support for critical applications and integrations
• Investigate and resolve incidents, defects and performance issues
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions
• Design, develop, test and deploy secure, scalable solutions
• Deliver enhancements, upgrades and modernisation initiatives
• Refactor legacy applications and reduce technical debt
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures and database objects
• Troubleshoot database performance and data integrity issues
• Support REST APIs, integrations and data migration activities
• Collaborate with DBA, infrastructure and vendor teams
• Assist with patching, vulnerability remediation and UAT activities
