Service Stream is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Developer to join the GBIS team in Melbourne. This role blends software development with application support to modernise systems supporting our operations nationally.

The position is full-time with genuine hybrid flexibility at Collins St, Melbourne, open to Australian citizens. You will work across design, development, testing, deployment and release processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Full Stack Development, software engineering or application support.
• Strong backend with C#, .NET, ASP.NET and Web APIs.
• Advanced SQL Server / T-SQL skills; front-end with HTML/CSS/JS/TS.

• Provide L1–L3 support for critical apps and integrations.

Are you a hands‑on Full Stack Developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, supporting business‑critical applications, and driving continuous improvement?

Service Stream is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our Group Business Information Systems (GBIS) team. This role blends software development with application support, giving you the opportunity to enhance and modernise systems that support our operations nationally.

Please note: This is a full-time permanent position based at our Collins Street office, with genuine hybrid flexibility. The role is open to Australian Citizens.

About the Role

Application Support & Reliability

• Provide Level 1, 2 and 3 support for critical applications and integrations
• Investigate and resolve incidents, defects and performance issues
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions
• Monitor application health and maintain support documentation

Software Development

• Design, develop, test and deploy secure, scalable solutions
• Deliver enhancements, upgrades and modernisation initiatives
• Refactor legacy applications and reduce technical debt
• Implement automation and continuous improvement opportunities

Database & Integration Support

• Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures and database objects
• Troubleshoot database performance and data integrity issues
• Support REST APIs, integrations and data migration activities
• Collaborate with DBA, infrastructure and vendor teams

Change & Release Management

• Support application releases, upgrades and deployments
• Prepare testing, implementation and rollback documentationAssist with patching, vulnerability remediation and UAT activities

What You'll Bring

Essential Skills & Experience

• 5+ years' experience in Full Stack Development, Software Engineering or Application Support
• Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, ASP.NET and Web APIs
• Advanced SQL Server and T-SQL skills
• Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with React, Angular, Vue or similar frameworks
• Experience with REST APIs, Git and CI/CD practices
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and stakeholder management skills

• Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps
• Power Platform

Qualifications
