Job summary

Profectus is seeking multiple experienced Full Stack Developers to sustain and enhance a secure web application for an Australian Government agency. The application is built on Angular and TypeScript, aggregates data from multiple sources to support decision making, and requires secure coding practices and SBOM remediation.

The role covers maintenance, feature development, security remediation, data platform integration, and working in DevSecOps pipelines onsite in Canberra.

Qualifications

• Full-stack development experience on enterprise web applications.
• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with back-end services and databases.
• Experience applying secure coding practices and remediating vulnerabilities.
• Experience working in agile delivery teams.

The application is built on Angular and aggregates data from multiple authoritative sources to support decision making. The work covers application maintenance, feature development, security remediation and integration with an enterprise data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an Angular-based enterprise web application
• Deliver application integration, remediation and enhancement work
• Build and deliver new features
• Support integration with, and data migration to, an enterprise data platform
• Remediate Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) findings and identified vulnerabilities
• Apply secure software development practices
• Work within DevSecOps pipelines and contribute to test automation
• Support security compliance and accreditation activities
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Support knowledge transfer to government staff

Required Experience

• Full-stack development experience on enterprise web applications
• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with back-end services and databases
• Experience applying secure coding practices and remediating vulnerabilities
• Experience working in agile delivery teams
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Experience working on applications for Defence or another Australian Government agency

Desirable Experience

• Experience developing within the Defence Secret environment or other classified environments
• Experience with SBOM tools and standards such as CycloneDX or SPDX
• Experience with data migration to enterprise data platforms, including the Defence One Defence Data platform
• Knowledge of the Information Security Manual (ISM)
• Experience applying OWASP secure development guidance

Security Clearance Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen
• Must have a current AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance (minimum)
