Job summary

Mutinex is a hybrid team building data-driven SaaS platforms, located across Sydney, Melbourne, and New York. As a Software Engineer, you will own end-to-end features spanning backend APIs and frontend UI, applying SOLID principles and delivering high-quality, testable code.

You will work across DataOS and GrowthOS/MAITE, collaborating with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers, while growing your skills in a fast-growing startup with strong equity and generous time off.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade backend systems and services.
• Designing, building, and scaling data-intensive cloud-based systems.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React) for full-stack delivery.
• Hands-on with cloud infrastructure (GCP) and IaC (Pulumi, Terraform).
• DataOS focus using Python or Go; strong ownership and code quality.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Feature Delivery: own data from core model to UI across backend and frontend.
• Development and Maintenance: contribute to new features and scalable architecture.
• Performance Improvement: assist in optimization across the platform.
• Collaboration: work with product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineers.
