Job summary

Bunnings is seeking a motivated operations leader for our Brisbane Fulfilment Centre to drive accurate order fulfillment and a positive team culture.

You will lead by example, coach and develop staff, manage stock and deliveries, and ensure safety and efficiency while delivering customer orders on time in a fast-paced environment. Our team is focused on collaboration, continuous improvement, and meeting high standards across all operations.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Experience in pick & pack or logistics environments.
• Proven ability to coach and develop high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing excellent service and inspiring the team to deliver accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
• Coach and develop team members to ensure a positive and productive workplace.
• Range management, oversee receiving and inventory processes.
• Ensure accurate stock width and depth, manage stock locations and fixtures.
• Assist with onboarding and ongoing training to maintain high standards.
• Support the team with picking, packing and dispatching orders as required.
• Organise and oversee deliveries to ensure orders are dispatched on time.
• Manage stock control, including loading and unloading products from delivery trucks.
• Ensure safety and efficiency are top priorities.

Our Fulfilment Centre plays a vital role in supporting our stores and customers. By accurately packing and delivering our customer online orders in full and on time, we work together to elevate pressure off our stores and exceed customer expectations.

What’s involved:

Who we’re looking for:

Base adult rate from $32.40

Our ideal candidate is an experienced, motivated leader with a passion for operations and team development. You’ll have prior experience in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and have a strong focus on achieving results while fostering a positive team culture.

You’ll need:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach & inspire your team
• A results-driven approach, balancing operational excellence & team engagement
• Consistent focus on safety & training standards
• Experience in a pick & pack or logistics environment
• Excellent organizational & time-management skills
• Ability to multitask & manage team expectations
• A proactive approach to problem-solving
• Good interpersonal skills
• A current forklift licence is preferred but not essential
