Job summary

Lowes Petroleum is seeking experienced Heavy Combination Drivers for our Hobart team on a permanent night shift. You will safely load, transport and deliver fuel to a range of customers, while ensuring proper pre-start checks and accurate log books.

The role includes strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and professional customer service. We offer a stable full-time position with extensive driver training, uniforms and PPE, and a focus on safety culture built by our HSSE team.

Qualifications

• Must hold an HC Licence with heavy vehicle operation experience.
• B-double licence is advantageous.
• Fuel industry experience is beneficial but not essential – training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, transport and deliver fuel to various customers.
• Prepare trucks for upcoming deliveries.
• Perform daily vehicle pre-start checks and logbook records.
• Manage fatigue and comply with transport and safety regulations.
• Build relationships with customers and represent Lowes professionally.
• Complete duties safely, efficiently and within timeframes.

What You’ll Do

• Safely load, transport and deliver fuel products to retail, commercial, agricultural and industrial customers
• Prepare trucksfor upcoming deliveries
• Perform daily vehicle pre-start checks and maintain accurate log book records
• Manage fatigue and comply with all transport and safety regulations
• Build strong relationships with our customers and represent Lowes with professionalism
• Complete all duties safely, efficiently, and within required timeframes

What You’ll Bring

• A validHC Licencewith experience in heavy vehicle operation
• B-double licence is an advantage
