Job summary

ACCIONA East Rockingham Waste-to-Energy Project is seeking a hands-on shift-based operator to implement and monitor safe, efficient plant processes, ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance on a 24-hour shift.

In a team, you will carry out routine tasks and testing of plant equipment, update the shift log, operate the weighbridge and offloading, and report defects in CMMS, supporting materials management under the Tipping Hall Supervisor.

Qualifications

• 3+ Industrial work experience.
• 2+ years around heavy machinery and moving plant.
• Experience working with large and diverse O&M teams.
• Previous experience in renewable energy or waste management sectors desirable.
• Current Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine tasks and testing of plant equipment.
• Update the shift log including plant and process changes; handover to next shift.
• Operate the weighbridge and offloading systems within contractual requirements.
• Ensure defect reporting within CMMS is effective and followed through.
• Assist the Tipping Hall Supervisor to operate the facility and manage materials.
