Job summary

ACCIONA, a global leader in regenerative infrastructure, is hiring for a 24-hour shift role at the East Rockingham Waste-to-Energy Project in Western Australia. The role focuses on implementing and monitoring systems to maximise process performance while ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance on site.

You will work as part of a team, carrying out plant duties, controlling materials and traffic, and communicating effectively across the site.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience around heavy machinery and moving plant.
• Experience working closely with large and diverse O&M teams.
• 3+ demonstrated supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine tasks and testing of plant equipment. Update the shift log including plant and process changes, diligent shift handover to ensure effective communication to the following shift.
• Operate the weighbridge and offloading systems within contractual requirements.
• Ensure that all defect reporting within CMMS is effective and followed through to completion promptly and that PPM's are completed as require
• Assist the Shift Team Leader to operate the facility through timely operation of materials management systems and processes.
• Engage with, and form strong working relationships with the Shift Fuel Reception Operators enabling seamless workflows lead by the Tipping Hall Supervisor.

Project

The East Rockingham Waste-to-Energy Project is a landmark facility in Western Australia that converts municipal and commercial waste into renewable energy. It will process up to 300,000 tonnes of waste annually, generating sustainable electricity for thousands of homes while reducing landfill. ACCIONA is delivering this complex infrastructure project with cutting-edge technology and a strong focus on environmental outcomes.

Position
