Job summary

Pyramid Global Technologies seeks a frontend developer to advance our design system and component library. You will implement accessible UI with HTML, CSS, and vanilla JS, and apply React hooks to create robust interfaces.

You will collaborate with designers using Sketch or InVision, document components, mentor peers, and configure webpack and Storybook for production builds and deployment. Familiarity with SCSS, npm, and the Atlassian suite is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript with accessibility in mind.
• Proficient React knowledge including hooks and component patterns.
• Experience with SCSS/Sass, mixins and functions.
• Understanding WCAG and ARIA roles and attributes.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation and share knowledge.
• Experience using design tools like Sketch or InVision and Storybook.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries.
• Mentor and onboard other developers on frontend best practices.
• Configure and maintain webpack builds and production deployment plans.
• Create and customize Storybook to document components.
• Collaborate with UX designers to translate designs into accessible UI.
