Job summary

uWorkin is seeking an experienced Front End Loader Operator for a mining site in Townsville. You will operate excavators safely, move material, and communicate clearly with all site personnel. A minimum of 2 years' mining experience is required.

Daily pre-start inspections on the Front End Loader, keeping the machine clean, and complying with Mine Health and Safety Act. Matric/Grade 12 and a valid Front End Loader Competency Certificate are required; you must be medically fit for site.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 required.
• Front End Loader Competency Certificate (valid).
• Minimum 2 years' mining experience.
• Ability to distinguish alarms and sounds on site.
• Physically fit per Mine Health and Safety Act requirements.

Responsibilities

About the Candidate

Matric / Grade 12 Valid driver's license Technical/Core Training: Valid Front End Loader Competency Certificate 2 years+ experience in a mining environment Ability to distinguish between back up alarms, voices, and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites Be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment Must be medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Company standards for medical fitness
