Job summary

Montgomery Advisory’s construction team in Sydney is seeking a Lawyer or Senior Associate with front-end construction experience to advise government and private sector clients on major projects across transport, energy, government, telecommunications, education and property development.

You will join a collaborative, high-performing team handling procurement, contract structuring and delivery, with an emphasis on drafting, negotiation and practical commercial advice.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' post-admission experience.
• Experience in construction, projects or infrastructure law.
• Strong front-end construction and major projects experience.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
• Sound commercial judgement and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise on procurement, structuring and delivery of major projects.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex construction agreements.
• Advise on procurement strategies and project delivery models.
• Assist with contract administration and risk allocation.
• Support clients across sectors including transport, energy, government, and education.
