Job summary

Green Endeavour is expanding with a brand-new facility in the Brisbane Markets precinct and seeks an experienced Quality Control Officer to own product quality from receivals through to dispatch. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will inspect produce on arrival, record stock in the Fresh system, and liaise with buyers and warehouse teams on quality status.

You will coordinate cross-docking receivals, analyse daily quality reports, monitor warehouse quality daily and assist with supplier

Qualifications

Experience in QA roles within fresh produce is preferred.
Knowledge of warehousing processes and HACCP standards is desirable.
Understanding of stock control and product quality assessment.

Responsibilities

Inspect all produce upon arrival, date, label and provide product pick list if applicable
Record arrivals through both the buyer’s collation and entering stock into Fresh computer system; enter reasoning codes for shortfalls
Liaise and communicate with buyers and warehouse team on quality and receivals
Coordinate the receivals of cross docking items
Analyse daily quality credit claim report and act on stock on hand
Monitor product quality in warehouse daily
Monitor stock rotation by date and color condition
Monitor quality through break-up area and split cartons for carry over stock
Monitor order assembly and dispatch area for pallet stacking quality
Assist buyers and accounts on supplier discrepancies
Any other duties as required
