Job summary

Woolworths Group in Wodonga is seeking an experienced Quality Control Officer to lead all QA activities for the Fruit & Veg lines we service at the distribution centre. You will work with the Distribution Centre, Buying, and store teams to uphold Woolworths quality standards and support ripening processes to ensure optimal quality and color for customers.

The role is a full-time permanent position within a large national retailer offering a supportive, inclusive culture and opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for quality assurance and fresh produce.
• Experience with Google Apps and Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess Fruit & Veg lines delivered to the DC.
• Validate compliance with quality, labeling specs and legislation.
• Support ripening processes to ensure optimal quality and color.
• Collaborate with Commercial Buying Team for best store offerings.
• Report to Senior Quality Control Officer and drive improvements.
