Sands Fridge Lines is seeking a motivated Freight Support coordinator to join our team in WA. Reporting to the Major Account Manager, this role helps ensure the smooth flow of freight and accurate documentation, meeting customer schedules and expectations.

You will support seamless deliveries by liaising with customers and coordinating with operations to keep freight moving, uphold safety, and maintain our strong industry reputation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in an operational customer contract support role, preferably within logistics or transportation.
• Experience in contract customer freight management and support.
• Experience in freight receivals & dispatching.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Transport and distribution experience required.

Responsabilités

• Liaise between customers and internal departments to ensure clear communication and service delivery.
• Coordinate with transport operations staff regarding loading status and delays, ensuring timely updates to customers.
• Communicate with dock supervisors to address loading/receiving priorities and issues.
• Schedule and manage return freight unloads and loadouts in collaboration with transport operations.
• Resolve discrepancies related to freight and documentation.
• Manage customer pallet documentation, conduct weekly counts, and generate reports.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment
• Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations and quality procedures.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team culture.
