Australia Post is hiring a Freight Handler in Sydney to load and unload parcels, handload and wrap freight, and support on-time deliveries. You’ll lift up to 30kg, work with a safety-minded team, and may use a forklift if licensed.
The role offers flexible hours and a supportive workplace that values safety and community connection. Applicants must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident and comfortable with repetitive tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Being in our warehouses means keeping active, working with a crew that's got your back, and knowing the work you do really matters. It's essential work with plenty of variety which means no two days are ever quite the same. We take safety seriously and look out for your wellbeing because you should be going home the same way you came to work.
We're looking for a Freight Handler to join our diverse and hard-working team. With e-commerce booming, our freight handlers are the folks making sure consignments are correctly loaded so we can get deliveries out to our customers, fast.
It takes a lot of us to deliver for every Australian - and it's important to us that our people behind the parcels reflect the people receiving them. We come from all walks. Different backgrounds, different ages, different genders, different sexualities and different abilities, but we all believe in the same purpose.
We welcome people all ages, genders and backgrounds - including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, LGBTQIA+ communities, and refugees. We're a Disability Confident Recruiter, committed to making our hiring process and workplace inclusive and barrier-free. We're also working hard to remove bias and build a gender-equitable experience for everyone who joins us.
