Job summary

Programmed are looking for casual forklift operator/warehouse freight staff to work at our client's site at Darwin Airport. The successful candidate will join a safety focused team, supporting a high-profile Aviation client in a fast-paced environment.

Role involves operating systems, loading/unloading, logistics tasks, and customer service, with a 24/7 rotating roster and pre-employment checks. Casual to permanent opportunity.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current forklift licence and have forklift experience.
• Must have a current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn logistics software.
• Willing to work a rotating 24/7 roster and across shifts.
• Eligible for Red ASIC identification and pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse/freight management systems.
• Breakdown freight and check-in cargo.
• Load and unload trucks using scanners and forklifts.
• Assist with logistics planning and operational control.
• Provide customer service and perform duties as directed by supervision.

Programmed are looking for casual forklift operator/warehouse freight staff to work at our client's site at Darwin Airport. The successful candidate will be joining a safety focused, team-oriented company, working in a fast-paced environment supporting a high-profile Aviation client.

About the Role:

• Operating warehouse/freight management systems.


• Breakdown freight/Check-in cargo.


• Load & unload trucks using scanners & forklifts.


• Logistics planning, workflows, and operational control.


• Customer service.


• Other duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager.


• Working across a rotating 24/7 roster

About You:

• Basic Computer data base knowledge and a capacity to learn basic logistic management programs.


• Current Forklift Licence and experience.


• Working knowledge of Airports (advantageous).


• Current Driver's License and have a reliable transportation.


• RF Handheld experience.


• Ability to work on a rotating shift 24/7 roster.


• Ability to qualify for and hold a Red ASIC identification card.


• Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check, including Drugs and Alcohol test.


• Willing to obtain National Police check for pre-employment.
