Job summary

Bunge is seeking a Freight Coordinator to join our logistics team in Australia, coordinating road and rail freight of bulk transport. You will work with the Logistics Planner to schedule rail movements and road transport to meet internal and external requirements, driving efficiency for the company and customers.

The role requires a Certificate in Supply Chain and Logistics or 2-3 years in logistics, knowledge of road/rail booking, and strong CoR and SH&E understanding.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Supply Chain and Logistics required or 2-3 years relevant logistics experience.
• Experience in logistics including knowledge and coordination of road and rail transport.
• Knowledge of the grain industry.
• Solid understanding of Chain of Responsibility and SH&E legislation relevant to the role.
• Sound knowledge of technology to support business and delivery of role.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating rail and road freight within the designated areas.
• Identifying opportunities to achieve efficiencies (including optimising and back loading).
• Ensuring safety and compliance requirements are met.
• Assisting in managing our network of preferred carriers.
• Monitoring performance and KPI reporting.
