Job summary

CoreStaff is seeking experienced forklift operators for a meat-processing warehouse in Derrimut. You will drive counter balance and reach forklifts in tight spaces, pick and pack, sort, RF scan, and load/unload containers. Roles require LF forklift licence, ability to work in a freezer/chiller, and a proactive, unsupervised work style.

Casual ongoing role with full-time hours and immediate start available. Onsite role with start times early morning shifts.

Qualifications

• Pick/pack in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• RF scanning and container loading/unloading experience required.
• Ability to operate forklifts in tight spaces and narrow aisles.
• Must have LF forklift licence.
• Comfortable working in freezer/chiller conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive a counter balance forklift in tight spaces and narrow aisles.
• Pick and pack items and sort inventory.
• RF scanning of stock and loading/unloading containers.
• Maintain housekeeping and assist with general labouring tasks.

About Our Client

Our client, located in Derrimut, is an Australian meat processing warehouse. We are currently seeking experienced storepeople with a forklift licence to work in their fast paced cold storage facility. The facility is a small space so the ideal applicant will be comfortable operating the forklift in tight spaces with narrow aisles. The successful application would be required to work day shift with start times varying from 5am to 9am dependant on the role.

About The Job

About You

• Counter balance or reach experience with ability to drive in tight spaces

• Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised
