Job summary

Comgroup Supplies, Australia's leading meat products manufacturer, is hiring Forklift Operators for Darra and Carole Park, QLD. This full-time role offers AM & PM shifts (5am-1pm and 1pm-9pm) with penalties included.

You will operate forklifts, load/unload trucks, move stock in a cold-room facility, use RF scanners for inventory, and uphold health and safety standards. The position offers freezer allowances and full training, with permanent hours and onsite work.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years forklift operating experience in production or logistics cold room.
• Valid LF forklift licence; LO licence is an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load/unload trucks with raw materials, finished goods, and other supplies.
• Move stock around the cold room warehousing facility while replenishing required product.
• Use RF scanners to monitor inventory, order picking and shipping of products.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.

Full Time| $32.23 - $36.78 per hour (Includes freezer and penalties) | Comgroup Supplies

We are currently looking for Forklift Operators to join our ever-growing warehouse team, located at our Darra and Carole Park sites.

AM & PM shifts (5am-1pm & 1pm-9:00pm) - Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load/unload trucks with raw materials, finished goods, and other supplies.
• Moving stock around the cold room warehousing facility while replenishing required product.
• Use of RF scanners to monitor inventory, order picking and shipping of products.
• Ensure consistent adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report all safety or maintenance issues to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.

Qualifications

• Valid LF forklift licence (LO licence is an advantage).
• Minimum 2-3 years forklift operating - counterbalance and high reach experience (production or logistics cold room environment - not mandatory but advantageous).
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of safety standards.
• Basic understanding of warehouse/logistics operations, and inventory systems.
• Experience using RF scanners.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle to get to and from work.
• Permanent working rights in Australia - citizen or permanent resident.
• Permanent employment – Full-time hours.
