Job summary

Inghams in Adelaide is seeking a hands-on Team Leader for the Freezer area within the Warehousing & Distribution team at Edinburgh Parks, SA. You will lead the day-to-day operations on the 1:00pm–9:00pm shift, ensuring safe, efficient despatch and productivity while supporting your team on the floor.

The role suits an experienced warehouse professional ready to step into leadership, with a focus on coaching, safety, and shift delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, distribution or similar operational environment.
• Previous Leading Hand or Team Leader experience is highly regarded.
• Forklift license is required, with High Reach experience.
• Strong communication and hands-on leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commencement of shift, handovers, rostering and attendance management.
• Coordinate despatch and unloading schedules to support an efficient operation.
• Oversee stock rotation and wastage control within the freezer.
• Manage break coverage and operational workflow to meet safety, service and productivity targets.
• Maintain high WHS, food safety and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with other teams across the site for smooth flow.
• Coach and develop team members; provide direction and accountability.
• Lead by example and foster a positive team environment.
• Drive continuous improvement across freezer and distribution operations.
