Job summary

Inghams Chickens is seeking a hands-on Team Leader – Freezer to join our Warehousing & Distribution team in Edinburgh Parks, South Australia. This role covers the afternoon shift, 1:00pm–9:00pm, Monday to Friday, taking ownership of daily freezer operations and leading a small team to meet despatch targets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will oversee shift start-ups, rostering, despatch coordination, stock rotation, and break coverage.

Qualifications

• Forklift license and high reach experience are required.
• Previous leadership or team-leading roles are highly regarded.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution or similar operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift commencement, handovers, rostering and attendance management.
• Coordinate despatch and unloading schedules for efficient operations.
• Oversee stock rotation and wastage control in the freezer.
• Manage break coverage and workflow during the shift.
• Support safety, service and productivity targets daily.
