Job summary

Sands Fridge Lines is seeking an energetic PM Warehouse Operations Manager to lead the nightly warehouse team at Forrestfield. You will oversee receiving, storage, staging, and dispatch while ensuring safe and efficient operations in a temperature-controlled environment.

The role emphasizes safety, team development, and operational excellence, with opportunities for career progression within a WA-owned family business renowned for refrigerated transport and warehousing services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years' supervisory or leadership experience in refrigerated warehousing, cold storage or transport operations.
• Strong focus on safety, compliance and operational excellence.
• Experience with perishable goods and temperature-controlled logistics is preferred.
• Ability to lead by example and foster a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and allocate nightly operational activities across the PM shift.
• Lead, motivate, and support team members to meet targets.
• Assist with receiving, storage, staging, and loading of freight.
• Ensure freight is loaded in line with CoR legislation and company requirements.
• Manage employee break schedules and workplace policy compliance.
• Verify pre-start inspections of MHE are completed accurately.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in load plans, manifests and notes.
• Escalate non-conformances to management promptly.
• Complete end-of-shift handover reports for the day team.
• Promote safe work practices and maintain a safe environment.
• Drive continuous improvement across warehouse operations.
