Ogilvy PR in Sydney seeks a Freelance Senior Account Executive/Account Manager to support the Consumer PR & Influence team during the Christmas period. You’ll manage media relations, client deliverables, and day-to-day activity with energy and initiative.

Weekend work and extended hours are part of the role, with a fast-paced agency environment and tight deadlines. The role requires hands-on PR expertise, strong writing and pitching capabilities, and a proactive mindset to keep campaigns moving

Qualifications

• Experience in a PR agency environment.
• Excellent writing, pitching, and communication skills.
• Strong account management and organisational skills.
• Proactive, can-do attitude and autonomous work style.
• Ability to hit the ground running and manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Driving proactive media relations, including developing media lists, pitching stories, following up with journalists and securing coverage.
• Supporting the execution of consumer PR campaigns, activations, and announcements.
• Managing day-to-day account activity, including timelines, status reports, coverage reports, and client communications.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and other relevant media contacts.
• Identifying timely news hooks and opportunities to generate coverage for clients.
• Providing hands-on support to the wider team and confidently managing competing deadlines.
• Supporting out-of-hours media requests and PR activity across the Christmas period.
