Job summary

Talent Web Recruitment seeks an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to join a blue-chip property and engineering organisation in Sydney for an initial 4–6 month contract. You’ll work with a high-performing finance team, taking ownership of reporting and FP&A with autonomy.

Qualifications

• Background in commercial finance, management accounting, FP&A or senior finance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, revenue and WIP.
• Independent worker who can handle competing deadlines; project environment experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close and prepare management reporting across units, states and disciplines.
• Review revenue, WIP, pre-bills, credit notes, recoverable costs and reconciliations.
• Extract and structure data from SunSystems and TM1 for forecasts, budgets, reporting packs and leadership requests.
• Maintain forecast models and analyse headcount, FTE, utilisation, productivity, margins and costs.
• Investigate movements, coding issues, data anomalies and reporting discrepancies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist with audit samples, general ledger extracts and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting and finance processes.
• Provide accurate and commercially useful information to senior stakeholders.
