Job summary

CPB Contractors in Brisbane is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to join the project finance team. You will analyse project data from ERP/BI systems and develop insights for stakeholders across all levels, supporting UNITY forecast consolidation.

You will partner with finance and project teams to improve cost reporting, budgeting and forecasting, while preparing papers for leadership review. Strong Excel and BI skills are essential in a fast-paced project environment.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Commerce or Accounting/Finance.
• CA/CPA qualification desirable but not mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years working in an FP&A / Business Partnering role or similar.
• Experience working in a large Construction / Engineering / Infrastructure / Property business.
• Systems experience with BI platforms; BI/JDE an advantage; Excel modelling skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Review of UNITY forecast consolidation on a robust platform, reducing errors.
• Engage with stakeholders to improve cost reporting and forecasting.
• Prepare papers for Alliance Leadership Team review and approval.
• Detail spend, forecast and reasons for costs charged to the Project Owner.
• Assist with month end activities and cost reviews for non-reimbursable costs.
• Provide ad-hoc reporting support to the Finance Manager.
