Job summary

We are partnering with a large commercial company to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner for an initial 3 month contract in Brisbane. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and business partnering, working closely with the CFO and leaders to provide insights for planning and commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on FP&A / commercial finance experience.
• Strong ability to model budgets, forecasts and scenarios.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare budgets and forecasts with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting and scenario analysis.
• Challenge assumptions to reflect business activity and realistic expectations.
• Consolidate departmental inputs for timely submissions.
• Update forecasts as conditions change and explain movements clearly.
• Build relationships with budget owners and support resource allocation.
• Interpret results, manage expenditure and support commercial decisions.
• Provide timely financial analysis for executive and board reporting.
• Explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
