Job summary

Lincoln Sentry, part of the DuluxGroup, is seeking an early-career finance professional to broaden expertise beyond traditional accounting. The role focuses on month-end accounting, reconciliations and reporting with a pathway into FP&A and commercial finance, based across Clayton and Bayswater offices.

You will work with a high-performing finance team, delivering accurate financial outputs and collaborating with branches, sales and service stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics or Business.
• Approximately three years’ experience in accounting, audit or finance.
• CPA or CA qualification, or currently working towards it.
• Strong accounting fundamentals, analytical capability and attention to detail.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Collaborative, curious and process-improvement mindset.
• Confident communication and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Big Four audit experience will be highly regarded.
• Experience with SAP, TM1, OneStream or BW would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate month-end accounting, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost centre management and longer-term planning.
• Prepare insightful variance analysis and commentary to support decision-making.
• Partner with branch, sales, customer service and cost centre stakeholders.
• Assist with audit, tax, capex tracking and investment proposals.
• Improve reporting and finance processes through automation and smarter use of systems and data.
