Job summary

Mind Australia is seeking a Finance Analyst to provide financial analysis, forecasting, modelling and planning support within the Finance team. The role is permanent and full time, with a hybrid working arrangement including Burnley and remote work options.

The successful candidate will contribute to financial planning, tender costing and strategic advisory activities to drive financial sustainability and growth for Mind Australia.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related discipline.
• CPA, CA or CIMA qualified or actively working towards completion.
• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, management accounting, FP&A or commercial finance.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical skills.
• Ability to analyse large and complex datasets and present findings clearly.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capability including Power Query and financial modelling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial models, forecasts, scenario analysis and planning tools.
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, performance drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting and planning processes.
• Consolidate and analyse financial information from multiple sources.
• Review planning assumptions and identify anomalies requiring further investigation.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports, dashboards and management information.
