Job summary

TRC Group is partnering with a leading global consulting organisation to build a high-performing AI engineering team in Australia. The Forward Deployed Engineer will work directly with strategic clients, turning complex business challenges into production-ready AI solutions in real-world deployments.

Based in Canberra with a hybrid arrangement, the role spans AI engineering, software development, solution architecture and client delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript or Go.
• Experience building AI/LLM applications in production would be nice but complusory
• Cloud experience across AWS, Azure or GCP
• Excellent client-facing communication skills.

You'll sit at the intersection of AI engineering, software development, solution architecture and client delivery.

You could be:

• Building AI/LLM applications and agentic workflows
