Job summary

Forty Winks Gold Coast is seeking a motivated Sales Team Member who helps customers choose mattresses, bedroom furniture and bedding, delivering friendly, knowledgeable service from the first conversation through after-sales support.

You’ll close sales, hit store targets, learn our product range, explain features clearly, follow up enquiries, prepare quotes and process orders, while keeping the showroom well presented and supporting the team.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in bedding, furniture or other retail environments.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Willingness to learn and drive to achieve results.

Forty Winks Gold Coast is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Sales Team Member who enjoys selling, builds rapport easily and knows how to turn a great conversation into a sale.

About the role

You’ll help customers choose mattresses, bedroom furniture and bedding to suit their needs, while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service from the first conversation through to after-sales support.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Understanding customers’ needs and confidently recommending suitable products.
• Closing sales and working towards individual and store sales targets.
• Learning our product range and explaining its features and benefits clearly.
• Following up enquiries, preparing quotes and processing orders accurately.
• Keeping the showroom well presented and supporting your teammates.

What we’re looking for

• Proven sales experience, ideally in bedding, furniture or another customer-focused retail environment.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to ask for the sale.
• A genuine interest in helping customers make the right purchase.
• Reliability, initiative and a professional approach.
• Availability to work weekends as part of the store roster.

Bedding experience is an advantage, but successful sales experience and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
