Qualifications

• Experience in network support or engineering in a corporate environment.
• Hands-on configuring and troubleshooting network devices.
• Knowledge of Fortinet, Juniper or Cisco technologies.
• Experience supporting IPsec VPNs.
• Strong routing and switching fundamentals.
• Clear communication and documentation skills.
• Exposure to scripting or automation is useful.
• Certs such as CCNA or Fortinet are advantageous.
• Current driver’s licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot network devices and connectivity.
• Support Fortinet firewall configuration, approved changes and security improvements.
• Configure and troubleshoot IPsec VPNs, routing and switching.
• Diagnose network incidents and work with internal and external IT teams to resolve issues.
• Update network documentation and implement approved changes.
• Assist with scripting, automation and practical process improvements.
