Job summary

Clough is seeking an experienced Formwork Carpenter / Grouter for immediate start at Woodman Point, Henderson, WA. You will join the SMP team, working 10-hour days, Monday to Friday, on the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities.

Based at Woodman Point, you will perform grout and formwork duties across greenfields and brownfields scopes, with a strong emphasis on safety, drawing-based layouts, and teamwork with tradespeople.

Qualifications

• Carpentry Trade Cert is required.
• Construction White/Blue Card is required.
• Current Australian C Class Driver’s Licence is required.
• Current Working at Heights ticket (within 2 years) is required.

Responsibilities

• Grouting and epoxy grout formwork, mix, pour and finish for mechanical items.
• Concrete finishing and Class 2 Finish.
• Read drawings or instructions for precise layout and application.
• Mark out, drill and install chemset bolts.
• Cementitious grout formwork, mix, pour and finish for structural work.
• Collaborate with tradespeople on site.
• Greenfields & Brownfields work on tanks, pipes & pumps.

Clough is in alliance with the Water Corporation and Jacobs, to deliver the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) for the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities.

The scope of the project includes upgrading the facility's sludge treatment processing system. This will enable the recovery of biosolids for agricultural use. The solid material, known as biosolids, will be used as a soil conditioner. Another by-product of the sludge treatment process is biogas, which can be used as a source of energy.

We are currently seeking an experienced Formwork Carpenter / Grouter to commence immediately. Based at our Woodman Point site in Henderson, you will be part of a high performing SMP team working 10 hour days, Monday to Friday.
