Job summary

Zed Contracting on the Gold Coast is hiring a skilled Formwork Carpenter for a permanent, full-time on-site role. You will build, install and dismantle formwork for concrete structures, reading plans and ensuring precision as per project specs.

Minimum requirements include an AQF Certificate III or IV and at least 2 years in carpentry or concrete, plus a Construction White Card. Salary starts at $75,000–$90,000 per year, negotiable.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III or IV in relevant field.
• Carpentry/ concrete: 2 years (Required).
• Machinery: 2 years (Preferred).
• Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Build, install, and dismantle formwork for concrete structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans to execute formwork tasks.
• Order materials per project requirements.
• Assist in concrete pouring, ensuring formwork is set and aligned.
• Inspect formwork to meet project quality standards.
• Maintain and care for carpentry tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and solve formwork issues during construction.
