Job summary

Randstad Australia is seeking a Forklift / Stores Operator for the Heatherbrae site on the afternoon shift (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM). This ongoing casual role offers a clear pathway to permanent employment for the right candidate, with overtime available to support peak periods.

You will operate forklifts to load, unload and move plastic products, perform general storeperson duties, receive stock, and help maintain a safe, organized warehouse. High-visibility clothing and steel-cap boots are required.

Qualifications

• Valid LF Forklift Licence with proven operating experience.
• Experience in warehousing, stores or distribution.
• Able to undertake manual handling tasks.

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Afternoon Shift) + Overtime available!

About the Role

This is an ongoing casual position with genuine opportunities to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate. Working the afternoon shift (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM), you will be a vital cog in the warehouse wheel, ensuring products are moved, stored, and dispatched safely and efficiently.

Your daily duties will include:

• Operating forklifts to load, unload, and move plastic products.

• General storeperson duties, including picking, packing, and dispatch.

• Receiving stock and conducting inventory checks.

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

• Utilizing some available overtime to help the team meet peak demands.

What You Need to Succeed

• Valid LF Forklift Licence (essential) with proven operating experience.

• Previous experience in a warehousing, stores, or distribution environment.

• Physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling tasks.

• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety (WHS).

• Reliability, punctuality, and a great "can-do" attitude.
