Job summary

Adecco Australia Group is seeking an experienced and reliable Storeperson/Forklift Operator to join a well-established business in Newcastle. This hands-on warehouse role handles receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while supporting day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse or storeperson role.
• Current Forklift Licence (LF).
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Ability to accurately receive, store and dispatch stock.
• Experience using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office programs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive,inspect and accurately store incoming goods
• Pick, pack anddispatch customer orders
• Safely load andunload trucks
• Operateforklifts and warehouse equipment in accordance with safety procedures
• Conduct stockcontrol activities and inventory checks
• Investigate andresolve stock discrepancies
• Assist withmaintaining warehouse organisation and cleanliness
• Liaise withsuppliers, customers and internal departments regarding stock andwarehouse matters
• Completewarehouse documentation accurately and on time
• Follow allworkplace health and safety policies and procedures
