Job summary

OnSite Recruitment is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Storeperson in South Melbourne for an immediate start. The role offers Monday to Friday work with a 6:00am–3:00pm shift, and a clear path to permanent employment within a large, established organisation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance LF Forklift in daily duties.
• Pick and pack customer orders.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently.
• Check incoming pallet deliveries.
• Perform general warehouse and storeperson duties.
• Manual handling up to 20 kg and maintain a clean safety-focused workspace.

Are you an experienced Forklift Operator / Storeperson looking for consistent Monday to Friday work?

Our client is a well-established business within the building supplies industry and is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator / Storeperson to join their team in South Melbourne for an immediate start.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a warehousing, trade store or retail background who is looking for stable work with the potential to move into a permanent position.

Forklift Operator / Storeperson - Immediate Start

Your duties will include:

• Counterbalance LF Forklift
• Picking and packing customer orders
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Checking incoming pallet deliveries
• General warehouse and storeperson duties
• Manual handling and repetitive lifting of up to 20kg
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

To be successful, you will need:

• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Minimum 6 months Counterbalance Forklift experience
• Availability to work Monday to Friday
• Your own reliable transport
• Good communication skills
• A positive and reliable attitude
• A strong focus on workplace safety
• Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake repetitive manual handling
• Availability to start immediately
