Job summary

Comgroup Supplies is hiring for a Forklift Operator at our Darra site. PM shifts 1:45pm-11:30pm, Monday to Friday. You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, load/unload trucks, and move stock in a cold-room warehouse with RF scanning.

We require a valid LF forklift licence (LO preferred), 2–3 years of forklift experience, and strong safety awareness. Permanent full-time role with freezer allowance and full training provided.

• Basic understanding of warehouse/logistics operations, and inventory systems.
• Experience using RF scanners.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Forklift Operator to join our ever-growing warehouse team, located at our Darra site.

PM shifts (1:45pm-11:30pm) - Monday to Friday

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

Load/unload trucks with raw materials, finished goods, and other supplies.

Moving stock around the cold room warehousing facility while replenishing required product.

Use of RF scanners to monitor inventory, order picking and shipping of products.

Ensure consistent adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.

Report all safety or maintenance issues to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager

Valid LF forklift licence (LO licence is an advantage).

Minimum 2-3 years forklift operating - counterbalance and high reach experience (production or logistics cold room environment - not mandatory but advantageous).

Good written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.

Strong attention to detail and knowledge of safety standards.

Basic understanding of warehouse/logistics operations, and inventory systems.

Experience using RF scanners.

Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle to get to and from work.

Permanent working rights in Australia - citizen or permanent resident.

Permanent employment - Full-time hours.

Freezer allowance on top of hourly base rate.
