Job summary

Fuse Recruitment is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator for a busy production environment in Australia. This role offers significant overtime potential and a clear pathway into a permanent position as part of a well-established national manufacturer.

You will operate a counterbalance forklift, assist with production tasks and support site operations while ensuring safety and efficiency across shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential.
• Current Driver’s Licence – essential.
• Must be flexible and available to work across different shift times, including days, nights and weekends.
• Willingness to work overtime is essential.
• Comfortable working in a hot and sometimes strong-smelling plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move materials around the site.
• Load and unload materials and move products to and from production areas.
• Assist with control room operations.
• Clean, maintain and secure equipment.
• Support general production activities as required.
• Occasionally driving a company car to transport samples between sites.
• Participate in safety meetings and follow all site safety procedures.
• Work as part of a close-knit production team.
