Job summary
Team Global Express is seeking a Forklift Operator / HC Driver to commence immediately in Gracemere, Rockhampton. This Full Time Permanent role runs Monday to Friday and focuses on forklift operations within our transport environment, unloading vehicles and preparing freight for delivery.
You will also provide HC driving support as required, delivering to customers and assisting with broader transport operations.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid Forklift (LF) licence.
- Current HC licence or higher highly regarded for additional support.
- Experience operating forklifts in transport/logistics environments.
- Experience loading and unloading vehicles, containers and PUDs preferred.
- Strong understanding of safe freight handling and CoR requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to load/unload vehicles, containers, trailers and PUDs.
- Load, unload and stage freight within operational areas.
- Prepare freight for delivery runs and ensure correct, safe loading.
- Assist with container loading and unloading activities.
- Perform HC driving duties when required, including deliveries and broader transport operations.
- Complete vehicle pre-start checks and delivery documentation accurately.
- Ensure freight is secured and handled per company procedures and CoR.
